Catit Design SmartSift is an automatic cat litter box, sifting system that takes the chore out of litter maintenance. Review: Comodo - Es muy cómodo, el gato mío es grande y entra perfecto, y os recomiendo comprar bolsas de 30l y estirar un poco los bordes para que entre en el cajón.
Review: Muy muy muy bien... gratamente sorprendidos. - Despues de darle muchas vueltas durante meses por que no sabia cual coger, si este, u otro que hay de otra marca (mas sencillo que este, ya que hay que volcar el arenero con la mano) y leer los comentarios de unos y otros... los negativos los vi muy muy negativos y me tiraba un poco para atras, y los positivos excesivamente positivos tambien jaja... me arriesgue, y sinceramente, llevo años limpiando la arena como un tonto, menudo invento, esto es lo mas comodo del mundo mundial, a ver no es perfecto, no es efectivo al 100% pero si al 90% y es mas que suficiente, me toca hacerlo con la palita al lado, por que?? por que a veces las heces son muy pequeñas y se cuelan en la rejilla, o se quedan enganchadas y con la palita pues se ayuda un poquito... pero de verdad que es un autentico invento. Si limpias a diario, con su arena aglomerante, y mueves la palanca muy despacito, incluso a veces para alante y para atras un par de veces... va fenomenal. Solo puedo recomendarlo al completamente si estas indeciso. Otra cosa, lei que los materiales eran malos y no se que cosas... a mi me han parecido materiales bastante decentes la verdad, no me parece plastico cutre ni nada del estilo, y el sistema es simple pero muy muy eficiente. Por cierto el cristalito de arriba me vino rajado ya, no he reclamado por que era una rajita de un par de centimetros y bueno... aguanta, pero he leido de mas gente que le ha pasado y deberian de controlarlo la verdad, espero que el gato que se sube por encima no lo raje un dia y la liemos, pero bueno. Por lo demas Genial. Por cierto las dos bolsas que vienen son para la parte de dentro que no lo especifican en ningun sitio y pensabamos que una era para dentro y otra para el cestillo, pues no, ambas son para dentro ya que es gruesilla y aguanta mejor los arañazos del Michi... para el cestillo en las tiendas Guaw hay unas bolsas con la medida perfecta para el cestillo, mirare el modelo y marca y lo pondre por aqui editandolo proximamente. ## Questions & Answers

**Q: Do you have to use there bags or can you use like a plastic target or walmart bag?**
A: I use standard 13 gallon kitchen trash bags in the bottom drawer and no linertia in the top at all.  Of course I also use small crystal litter which doesn't stick to the plastic as bad as clumping would (if you do this, you'll want to add a strip of duckt tape along the front edge of the part that faces downward when you raise the handle--that is designed to allow some litter to drop down into the bottom tray to help with odor control, but with fine grains, you loose A LOT of litter unless you tape it).  Best labor saver I've ever had though, and I've tried all the robotic boxes except the genie and the litter robot.

**Q: Can i know how big is it? If it will fit a Maine Coon.**
A: I have a 8 lb. tabby and a 14 lb. tabby/Maine coon mix. It is just a tad small for our maine coon, but he seems to do okay in it. I've had this box for about a week and he's been using it fine. However, I don't believe a full-bred Maine coon would fit at all.

**Q: Can "crystal" cat litter be used?  I've never understood if crystals are considered to be clumping litter, but it's all we've ever used.  This seems like a great litter box, but I'd hate to switch our 15-year old kitty to a completely different kind of litter.**
A: Yes, I use Petco’s SoPhresh Odor Lock crystal litter in this box and it works really well as long as I don’t try to sift the box right after my cats have peed in it— you need to give the litter a little time to absorb it. It’s nice not having to dislodge clumping litter from the sifting grate like I did when I used clumping clay.   I have two cats and find I need to change out the litter every two weeks.

**Q: Why to huge huge price difference between buying one and buying two?**
A: On the Catit website as of 4/7/2021 this product is $99.99.
You can also purchase Recycled WOOD cat litter to work with this. Yay!! No more nasty particles in your cat's feet that he or she has to eat to clean off!

Es muy cómodo, el gato mío es grande y entra perfecto, y os recomiendo comprar bolsas de 30l y estirar un poco los bordes para que entre en el cajón.
