The handle is magnetic and will transfer magnetism through bits when they are in handle. **Q: Is this the new version? Its 10 dollars more compare if you order it on its site.** A: This is indeed the new version. We do our best to offer affordable prices where we can, but it's ultimately decided by market forces. Since it costs us more to host the kit on Amazon, the price must reflect that to compensate. **Q: Are the magnets in the case of this toolkit (hold the bit case together and holding the bit case to the canvas pack) safe to leave around hard drives?** A: Technically, yes, I would think it would be quite safe. But I wouldn't intentionally place it next to any hard drive, especially for an extended period of time. **Q: If you buy it off of amazon, does it still have the warranty?** A: Yep! We honor our Lifetime Warranty regardless of where the Pro Tech Toolkit is purchased. If any tool fails you, just contact us and we'll arrange for a replacement to be sent to you. :) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great kit *by on Reviewed in Singapore 9 September 2020* a good starting kit to fix your kits ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ الأفضل لصيانة الأجهزة *by on Reviewed in Saudi Arabia 17 October 2025* هذا حقًا أعظم منتج تشتريه في الكون إذا كنت من محبي صيانة الأجهزة بنفسك. ## Frequently Bought Together - iFixit Pro Tech Toolkit - Electronics, Smartphone, Computer & Tablet Repair Kit - iFixit FixMat - Magnetic Electronic Repair Screws and Parts Organizer - iFixit Magnetic Project Mat - Rewritable Magnetic Work Surface for Electronics, Phone, Laptop Repair --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ae/products/745171972-pro-tech-toolkit](https://www.desertcart.ae/products/745171972-pro-tech-toolkit) --- *Product available on Desertcart United Arab Emirates* *Store origin: AE* *Last updated: 2026-10-28*
