Easy to hold, comfortable and the springs seem durable. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Work Well With 550 Paracord *by R***T on January 24, 2026* These spring cord locks (the same thing you see on the end of a hoodie string) are quite handy. I purchased them with the intent to use them to secure things with a light to medium amount of force. I use them on the end of my knife lanyards incase I need to use said lanyard if I am working with a tool at height. I also use them to secure things inside my delivery van so that they don't go flying, because Detroit drivers are crazy. It will fit two ends of 550 paracord inside with a little effort. Just remember to cauterize the ends of your paracord safely before working with it. I imagine the smaller 'shock cord' will be easier. I have also used these to attach my winter gloves to my backpack, and they were secured well. These will probably last quite a while because the only point of failure I see is a weakening spring (Springs wear when they are compressed or released from compression). I would buy these again if I needed more.
