**Q: Using the recommended dw9116 charge but getting a fast red blinking light ("replace battery").  why?**
A: If the battery is hot or if very discharged that can happen.  Also if damaged internally.  Make sure it is cool and try it several times.

**Q: Battery is at the last green light blinking for 2.5 days now.  but the dw9116 charger red has solid light.  anything wrong?**
A: This battery is a Lithium Ion battery and the DW9116 is not designed to charge it.  You will need to find a Dewalt charger designed to handle Lithium Ion batteries like the DC9310.

**Q: After 3 recharging cycle with a dewalt li-ion charger the battery quit recharging. no light on the battery or the charger. what’s wrong?**
A: I use a Dewalt charger DW9116. Without a battery installed, the red LED flashes once when I plug it into an outlet.  Do you have access to another charger? As a test, try charging your battery with another charger.
