I thought it would be like a faux leather/vinyl but it's very stiff plasticy material. Not very comfortable to carry due to this, the strap is the same material so it slides off the shoulder a lot and is just rather stiff and uncomfortable.Other than that seems well made but I didn't use it for long before I bought something else.
