Abilitations set of six coil hangers is used to suspend and attach small objects or materials, such as toys or cloth in
a play tunnel. The hangers stretch up to three feet for extended reach, and have badge clips on both ends for ease of
use. The hanger’s exterior is polyurethane for resistance to abrasion, chemicals, and UV radiation, and the clips are
made of aluminum to resist corrosion. Polyurethane is also resistant to oil, weather, ozone, heat, electricity, tearing,
and various chemicals; aluminum resists corrosion and tarnishing, and is lightweight. The hangers are in assorted
colors, and measure 3.0”/8.0cm (L) when retracted. (L is length, the horizontal distance from left to right.) Hanger
colors may vary depending on availability at the time the product is packaged. The set has an activity guide with
suggestions for use, and may be suitable for some children on the autism spectrum and for special needs, preschool, and
early childhood learning environments.
Special needs products are designed to help improve sensory processing, positioning and mobility, fine motor, and
language and communication skills for students with learning challenges. Fine motor products can help individuals
improve fine motor skills (hand dexterity), eye-hand coordination, handwriting, self-help skills, such as dressing, and
focus and concentration.
