After my 20 year old EV wireless mic died I wanted something more portable and easy to connect to my mixer. I did not know what to expect from this wireless system because of its small size. I tested it out at home before taking it to my next gig. I was pleasantly surprised it was very easy to set up very simple instructions. I connected the receiver into my Mixer and the transmitter into my SM 58 microphone. Different mics will produce different sounds according to your voice and your EQ settings. The SM 58 works best for me. As far as distance I could easily walk 100 feet line of sight with no dropouts. Based on the events that I work, that would be a rare instance for that length so I am pleasantly pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend this unit.
