Review: Awesome system. - This was my first experience with night vision scopes. This is a little different because it is more of a system than a scope. It attaches to your existing mounted scope. It arrived quickly from desertcart and was extremely well packaged. I wasn’t expecting much in the way of quality materials based on the low price. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of all parts of this system. I mounted it on my scope in about 10 minutes but that time would be halved if I mounted again. I tried to test it but could not get it to work properly. It was my fault. I didn’t realize there were three separate switches that have to be on for it to work properly. One on the illumination light, one on the screen,and one on the camera cylinder. In my defense the instructions are pretty much useless. But it is generally simple enough that it can be figured out. If I would make one suggestion I would recommend comprehensive instructions. I nearly packed mine up and sent it back until I made one last attempt and found a YouTube video review showing the third switch. Glad I didn’t. This thing works great for the price. It’s as accurate as your scope is. I could identify a rabbit at 75 yards in total darkness and a coyote at over 100 yards. I believe I should be able to use it on coyotes out to at least 150 yards. I would recommend this system.

**Q: how is the picture in day light?**
A: Picture is still good in day time, not good color but still good quality

**Q: Not getting full screen**
A: Please set the display ratio through the menu key on the back of the screen.
Or adjust the distance between the camera and the eyepiece

**Q: will this work on a telescope for looking at stars?**
A: Can’t say that I’ve ever tried looking at stars.... although it works well for hunting rats!

**Q: Is there a way to add a recording device?**
A: You would have to get a splitter cable from the camera going to the display and the other going to your recording device.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works on many Spotting scopes with a minor modification

I found that mounting this on a spotting scope and tripod to be very handy. It works well but you need to cut the slide in the housing longer as spotting scopes have next to no eye relief therefore the camera needs to be way ahead. But after that it works great. In the photos I have an 8" target just over 10m away and the spotting scope set to the lowest setting, in this case 20x and I can clearly see the 8-9 and 10 rings. I will test the battery life with the batteries I have to see if I need to order higher mAh cells, I would need to get about 4 or 5 hours out of it minimum. I may need to bring spare batteries but this unit does not ship with batteries so that is a separate matter. A report on the power consumption would help. This option does not expose the camera and screen to recoil. An SD card to record would be nice, and a larger screen. Perhaps in another model... I would be happy to test... To modify, find the slot for adjusting the camera distance from the scope, elongate the slot to 3/4 of the tube length and that should do it. FOLLOWUP- A fully charged set of 34000 mAh batteries lasted 7 hours and were still going but I ran out of time so enough battery life for a full day at the range
