Review: Blackest of the black paint - Vallejo black has been my go to black paint for over a year now.. it is a great black color which is on the real dark side. This makes sense if you have plenty of different black paints like I do. It’s nice and thick w out being too thick and can be thinned out w great ease. The application is easy and creamy smooth. The opacity is wonderful but you can also thin it go a nice glaze. Vallejo has great paints. I would say the price point is a little high with Prime free shipping BUT if you buy it cheaper elsewhere you will generally pay the same w their shipping rate. Might as well keep using desertcart due to the fast shipping. Don’t hesitate and enjoy this great black color. Review: Honestly I don't know how to describe how good this paint is - It's good model paint if you know to thin it well. I got this for a custom figure project I was working on, mainly the weapon accessory, and because my existing pot of paint is mostly wash now. Dries quick as expected. My only suggestion to anyone buying paint in a dropper bottle is to put a ball barring in it to help mix the pigments, even in a dark color like this. ## Features - Model color has been formulated with permanent pigments for fine arts; all colors are completely lightfast and opaque - The consistency of Model color allows for an extremely smooth and uniform paint film, with no trace of brushstrokes - The water based formula of Model color has been specifically developed for adherence on difficult surfaces such as metal and plastic ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B000PHCNUS | | Age Range Description | Child | | Best Sellers Rank | #1,585 in Arts, Crafts & Sewing ( See Top 100 in Arts, Crafts & Sewing ) #56 in Art Paints | | Brand | Vallejo | | Brand Name | Vallejo | | Color | Basic Skintone | | Color Code | Not Available | | Container Type | Bottle | | Coverage | Full | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 8,556 Reviews | | Dry Time In Hours | 0.5 | | Finish Type | Matte | | Full Cure Time | 24 hours | | Global Trade Identification Number | 08429551708159 | | Included Components | Brush | | Indoor Outdoor Usage | Indoor | | Is Waterproof | False | | Item Form | Liquid | | Item Part Number | 815 | | Item Volume | 17 ml | | Item Weight | 27.22 g | | Manufacturer | Vallejo | | Model Name | Vallejo | | Model Number | VJ70815 | | Paint Type | Acrylic | | Part Number | 815 | | Size | 0.57 Fl Oz (Pack of 1) | | Special Feature | Non Flammable | | Special Features | Non Flammable | | Specific Uses For Product | Interior/Exterior | | Surface Recommendation | Plastic,Metal | | Warranty Description | No Warranty | | Water Resistance Level | Not Water Resistant | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Vallejo - **Color:** Basic Skintone - **Finish Type:** Matte - **Indoor/Outdoor Usage:** Indoor - **Item Volume:** 17 ml - **Paint Type:** Acrylic - **Size:** 0.57 Fl Oz (Pack of 1) - **Special Feature:** Non Flammable - **Specific Uses For Product:** Interior/Exterior - **Surface Recommendation:** Plastic,Metal ## Images ![Flesh Tone Paint, 17ml - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61pyKLdSiAL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Blackest of the black paint *by J***S on December 31, 2025* Vallejo black has been my go to black paint for over a year now.. it is a great black color which is on the real dark side. Used straight with a brush it gives good coverage. Must be heavily thinned for use in an airbrush. A combination of Vallejo thinner, Airbrush Flow improver and mild retarder keeps the paint from clogging the tip and gives great coverage. ## Frequently Bought Together - Vallejo Flesh Tone Paint, 17ml - Vallejo Light Grey Model Color Paint, 17ml - Vallejo Light Brown Model Color Paint, 17ml --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ae/products/7717061-flesh-tone-paint-17ml](https://www.desertcart.ae/products/7717061-flesh-tone-paint-17ml) --- *Product available on Desertcart United Arab Emirates* *Store origin: AE* *Last updated: 2026-10-06*
