Easy to and simple to connect as don't need any extra cables. Shows power states in 1 in 2 and out. Works great for lights but not if have computers or 'stupid kitchen stuff that have clocks or other programming' as needs to be reprogrammed. It's a pity that can't even manually safely switch as that way creates even longer power losses.
