**Q: can you make a reuben sandwich with it?**
A: I suppose that you could however it is not at all like sliced corned beef from a brisket. This product really works better, in my opinion either just sliced when cold for a sandwich, or sliced and then fried for a hot sandwich, or perhaps best yet when combined with your own diced potato, along with perhaps a bit of onion to make a corned beef hash.

**Q: Can this be souped?**
A: Yes, this can be used in various soup recipes.

**Q: sugar is in ingredient list.  how many grams of sugar?**
A: 1 gram of sugar, this corned beef has very little fat compared to other brands I've tried & is really good for coming out of a can!

**Q: What is the shelf life of this?**
A: I did not see a date on the can.But I have had it on the shelf sometimes for about 2 weeks and it sure tasty fresh.A canned product like this has to have a good amount of shelf life.
