The interior features a ceramic coating, which provides good food release when frying. The exterior is coated likely non-anodized. The main construction is aluminum-based. The aluminum is not extremely thick, so heat conduction is very fast on bottom but even distribution is on avarage side. You do need to be careful with flame control—too much heat can cause fast conduction and potential burning. However, when the flame is adjusted properly, there are no burn points and food cooks evenly. The lid is thin stainless steel and feels a bit basic compared to the pan itself. It’s functional, but very thin and not premium. On the positive side, the pan is oven-safe up to 400°F, which makes it very convenient for cooking something on the stovetop and finishing it in the oven. I’ve already cooked with this pan multiple times and have not noticed any degradation of the ceramic coating, which is reassuring.
