I bought it so I could lose and learn in peace. So far so good, on the losing. Learning is TBD. Use interface is clean enough, the LED display was the most appealing of the ones I saw. Games have gone smoothly, at least in the mode I’m in. I use the “training” mode, which warns against whether you put your pieces in imminent danger. Some of the mistakes the computer makes at the lower levels are too clearly intentional to be appreciated. The board can be a little finicky if the pieces are RIGHT in the middle of the tile… like, it’s not difficult to align them, but there is zero grace for pieces sliding away. Just know you’re not playing electronically if you don’t have the magnetized pieces. The game will stop and ask where those pieces are. Build quality: the equipment is reasonably constructed. Not exactly sturdy - won’t be doing any drop tests - but it seems like it’ll last some time. The pieces are on the smaller side and lackluster in character. Very basic pieces.
