It's a versatile camera for the beginner, with menus that help you learn photography on the camera! Scene modes, Art modes, AP (advanced photography modes), it's all there, it even stitches panoramas together for you in-camera. This has all the advantages of a point and shoot, in a seriously nice and ergonomic retro body look, with interchangeable lenses. And there are soooo many Olympus/OM System lenses to choose from (most are small and very manageable) Behind all the ease-of-use menus and features, there is also the full set of manual settings for the amateur photographer.
