This greatly decreases the run-time between battery swaps while using the tools. One example is the 120V MAX 12" compound sliding miter saw. That saw is insanely powerful, but it comes at the price of frequent battery swaps compared to other DEWALT tools. The fact that it uses 2 batteries at once to yield 120 Volts, means you need to bring twice as many fully-charged spares along to keep it running non-stop. Well, I can confirm that these batteries make a huge difference. I can now use the saw on and off all day long by installing a pair of these batteries. The 9Ah batteries were pretty good, but these are significantly better. Of course, at this price, they should be. That's the only drawback of picking up some of these batteries. The cost is admittedly nutty, but I must say it was worth it to get 33% more runtime than the 9Ah offered. With the extended run time, you don't need to carry as many batteries along, either. Amazingly, the quick charger seems like it can charge a set of these in about the same time it charged the 9Ah batteries. Logic tells me that couldn't possibly be true, and perhaps I'm wrong, but it sure seems like it. If you are sitting there considering these batteries because the 9Ah batteries just aren't big enough to get you through a day, you should just click "Buy." Based on my own experience, you won't regret it one bit.
