You still get the 50t bailout gear, as well as the PowerGlide II tooth profile and ramp design that work together to provide seamless transitions between gears, but it's made of all steel cogs to keep the cost reasonable and improve durability. My first NX Eagle chain/cassette combo I left the chain on for way too long (2,500 miles) and over-stretched it and accidentally wore out my rear cassette too. Costly mistake! I first just attempted to replace my chain to fix some minor skipping but without replacing the rear cassette too the problem just got 100x worse. I rode around for 2 days not allowing my bike to shift into the my slipping gears and ordered this replacement right away. Once this was replaced, along with the chain, my ebike rode like new again. Moral of the story, this is a great product and works well on an ebike. However, I'd highly recommend getting a Park Tool CC-2 to keep a close eye on chain stretch, replace the chain @ .5 to avoid also wearing out your rear cassette and other drive train components.
