One of my first priorities was to replace the handmade MDF box with a good, safe, battery tray. The Jegs unit I bought had a really flimsy tie down bracket that was bending under the stress of a couple of hand-tight wingnuts. I didn't really like the idea of taking the car out like this and wouldn't even try to pass tech like that; I'd get laughed out of there. This tie down bracket solved the problem wonderfully. No bending or buckling. The battery is snugly in place, and it looks handsome to boot. I would definitely buy one of these again if I needed to replace a rusted or aging tie down bracket in another of my cars. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Solid, nice design & attractive *by N***D on Reviewed in the United States on September 3, 2019* I installed this on my 2002 Nissan Maxima with an Odyssey 34R-PC1500 battery. The OEM tie down only touched the edges of the battery, so I wanted a tie down that touches the entire top surface, and this one does. The tie down came packaged well, feels solid in my hand, and has a nice design and matte black finish. The length is perfect for the Maxima. I'm glad I chose this over more expensive options. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent battery tie down brace *by G***G on Reviewed in the United States on October 26, 2020* I installed a new Odeyssey grp 34 battery and was not happy with the OEM tie down, it was contacting the battery on only two shoulders of the battery. This tie down contacts the battery across the entire width (top) of the battery.
