Results are displayed in feet, yards, or meters. An integrated tilt sensor allows you to measure horizontal or vertical distance and calculate an object's height instantly by using the built-in three-shot routine. The "Closest" operating mode distinguishes near and far objects and identifies the closest target, and the "Farthest" mode allows you to lock on the furthest target and shoot distant features through brush and foliage. After receiving the unit and trying to set it up, there were several issue which made me return it. The data is not directly downloadable to a computer or an Apple device. You have to use a data logger along with relevant software, while taking measurements. Of course LTI will be happy to sell you the additional logger and software. There was a pamphlet included in the packaging advising downloading their LaserSoft Measure App for Smartphone. It even stated the app was compatible with higher end TruePulse units. $9.00 on Apple App Store. However, this app is only compatible with the 200X on IoS. Only after studying the webpage and verifying with customer service was this apparent. For someone who already has a data logger and software, this may be what you are looking for.
