He raps about the strangest topics and has a crazy release schedule, this being his second album released in a month (only three weeks since "Thugs Revenge") and his seventh (including internet releases) over the past year and a half. His most recent albums have been marked by great lyricism, even despite his often strange choice of topic, and subpar production. "The Story" is definitely a step in the right direction. Longtime Bizzy fans should not be expecting another "Heaven'z Movie" or "The Gift", but "The Story" is one of his better albums of recent years because it has much better production and a lot of what many ever loved about Bizzy, with his sung hooks and talented triple time raps. Real Talk Ent. provides him with the piano, violin, and drum beats that he has always been partial to and they suit him very well. Although it contains all the strangeness of a Bizzy Bone album, it is a shining light amidst a string of below average releases from BB.After an introduction, the album begins strongly with the three best songs. "All Day, All Night" is a very strong track, with a hard piano and drums beat and a lyric and hook to match. "Play it Again" is a conversation Bizzy has with God, expanding on his recent spiritual music, and I enjoy it although it goes on for too long. "When I See" has all the strengths of a Bizzy song, with his mystical wonder and philosophy, and is well produced. "So What Cha' Sayin" has good guitar and trumpet instrumentals, showing the improvement in production. "Bizzy's Story" has a beat reminiscent of a DMX track, and it's cool to hear Bizzy talk about what's going on and where he is now. "They Don't Know" has a great sung hook and production. In "Maybe You Can Hold Me", Bizzy voices some of his troubles and loneliness, and the beat and instrumentals match. "The Future Thugs-N-Harmony" provides none of the fresh beef that the title would suggest. "One Time" is a pretty good finish to the record.Although I admit he now makes some of the strangest music in the world, I am still drawn to Bizzy Bone's music because he is one of the strongest lyricists in the rap world and he knows how to make a good song. This album will not be remembered as a classic by any means but Bizzy fans will thoroughly enjoy it just the same. Represent ### ⭐⭐⭐ An artistic lowpoint *by J***R on September 30, 2006* When I first popped in Bizzy Bone's 6th solo album I didn't know what to expect. I mean, it had been mere months since his last album dropped, and I really wasn't expecting a new Bizzy disc for quite sometime. Although I was worried about the value of said material, I went ahead and bought the disc on the strength of Bizzy's abilities. The first thing that I noticed on this disc was the inclusion of religious messages on EVERY SINGLE song. This is not only repititive, it's preachy, contradictory, and hypocritical. The only song on here not laced with Christian overtones is "Bizzy's Story", a remake of "We Want Eazy" where Bizzy the Kid goes over his career and personal life over the past few years. I also noticed the lack of real verses, which really bothered me. Bizzy is a very talented singer, and I appreciate his vocal abilities when matched by passionate spitting, but he really underwhelmed me by the lack of lyrics on this cd. Also, "So What Cha Sayin" is really the only up-tempo track on the cd. "Future Thugz-N-Harmony" is terrible. The verses are a straight jack of "All My Life" from Thug's Revenge, and half of the chorus is also ripped off from "Thug'z Prayer" from the same cd. The beats aren't that bad, but they're not very distracting from the constant barrage of religious material and really carry a lot of the tracks from medocrity. Also, is it just me or are "The Truth" and "Represent" the same song? Aren't they really just an intro and an outro? Aren't the same beat? If so, why are two seperate producers credited with the same music? I don't understand. This is Bizzy's most confounding project since Heaven'z Movie, except it has none of the redeeming qualities. The ONLY reason I gave this album three stars is because it's Bizzy bone, the beats are alright, and when Bizzy does get around to spitting it's usually worth listening to. I heard Bizzy converted to Islam (recently, after this album was recorded), I wonder if he'll play ANY of these songs live considering they all reference Jesus Christ as the son of God.
