Review: Absolutely Incredible Speakers - I have these playing out of a Sony receiver (6 ohms) that drives 90 watts / two channels driven (These speakers are 8 ohms). The interweb calculators are telling me that this is actually a 67 watts output per channel. I mostly listen to music that is directly connected (No Bluetooth), and the sound is incredible at only half power. I can't imagine that anyone would ever be disappointed with the overall output and quality of these speakers. I often can only listen to 2 or 3 songs at louder levels before turning it down.

A: Klipsch rates them at 150w continuous and 600w peak.

**Q: Need to replace a tweeter in a klipsch rp8000f. blown. power surge(blew a channel) in a high humidity environment. manufacturer repair/install?**
A: Call them and ask.

**Q: What is considered the lowest wattage to drive these speakers, and not damage them?**
A: I am powering my speakers with the Sony STR-DN1080 which is a 165w AV receiver and the Klipsch RP-8000f are rated at 150w continuous and 600w peak. Being within or below the rated wattage range isn't going to make a significant difference in sound quality. A high quality amplifier is most important when it comes to your quality of sound. These speakers will not get damaged from anything that is below its continuous rating, but I would recommend having a receiver with a minimum output of 100w per channel otherwise the speakers are going to ask for more power than the receiver can give causing an overload or overheating of the receiver.

**Q: Ordered mine 11 days ago and still says "order received" uet no email on when it will be shipped. How long does it take to get your order?**
A: I don't know if the same people who filled my order will fill yours.  but, at any rate, mine took about 8-10 days so I wouldn't panic just yet...great speakers btw...I broke mine in around 90 hours of listening.  Hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine...ear candy, baby!

Will need two strong people to carry one of these speakers any distance, let alone up a stairs...once you place the speakers, you will need assistance to move them, more than a couple of inches. The old floor speakers I replaced, Boston HS 450's, I could pick each one up with one hand and move it anywhere, with little difficulty. The speakers look awesome. I left the speaker covers off. Each speaker's 2 bright orange woofers are too nice-looking to cover up. Upon easily connecting the speakers to my old Yamaha receiver, I was amazed at how immediately good the speakers sounded. My old receiver easily drove them, too. After 40 some burn-in hours they will sound even better.
