It works very well. I bought this particular model based on price and advertised weight. When I first turned it on it started beeping and the red light was flashing. Don't know why that happened, but the second time I turned it on it did just fine. Took about 2 hours to charge up the internal battery, this battery keeps the robot stuck to the window in case you lose power, but the robot will not clean using only the battery. It must be plugged in. If your windows are really dirty, like mine were, requires multiple stops to change the cleaning pads. On their website it says it is more for maintenance. My windows face the ocean and are about 30 feet above the sand. Being in Southern California and in a major drought the windows were coated in sand and salt, so that is why it took much longer to clean them. The people walking along the beach path gave us some very interesting looks while we were cleaning the outside of the windows. More information, It costs me $150.00 each time I have the windows cleaned so I figure that after two cleanings with the WINBOT I've paid for it. Maybe I'll rent it to my neighbors and make a profit. It comes with a big suction cup and bungee-type cord so if it falls off the window it won't fall 30 feet to the ground. Make sure you clean the suction cup and the window area where you are going to stick it, otherwise it won't stick well. Also, I found the suction cup after a while will come unstuck, so I suggest re-sticking it every so often. I really don't think the WINBOT would actually fall off as it really sucks itself to the window, I just like the extra security. I have a Wind Tunnel AIR Cordless vacuum cleaner, and the WINBOT is a little quieter than it. Did not scare the cats, in fact they were curious what the heck was crawling on the window, like it was a big bug. I had a question, not a problem. I wrote to the company and they responded very quickly. In fact the first person to respond was out of the office on a business trip. It makes me think they are very concerned about their customers. I can't think of anything else at the moment, you can submit any questions you have and I will try to answer them. Except questions about the power supply, etc. Those should go to the robot maker. Review: Don’t buy! - Bought one of these, use it one time to test it and worked OK, so I bought a second one for my parents, test it and worked OK too. Those were the only time they worked, after that the second time of each, I plugged them, and the green light never turned blue (indicate that the backup battery is charged) to start using the appliance. Seems that there is a problem with the battery or the source, don’t know which but couldn’t use it again. Returned it.
