Can be done by one person but two are better - I am a single female and bought this so I could paint my twenty foot ceilings, clean the high windows and do some exterior work. For the price, this is great. It rolls easily and will fit through a standard doorway. It IS large and heavy, but you really want it to be when you are 12 feet up. To my untrained eye, the general quality is good. All the holes line up, the wheels are huge and turn easily. The biggest problem was in the assembly. I would definitely recommend that two people do this, but I DID do it by myself and I am no spring chicken. The instructions are sparse and nonsensical. I watched several youtube videos before taking apart what I had done (according to the instructions) and starting over. Other manufacturers of very similar equipment have some excellent videos. The safety guards did not come with instructions and are not quite like competing products so I called CBM to see if they had a video. They don't. Regardless, I got it all together. It does feel wobbly and once your knees start shaking, it can get to rockin'! Take a deep breath and calm down. Do NOT use it without the safety rails. If you are doing interiors and have stairs, just wheel this guy over to the stairs and load up your stuff instead of trying to haul it up somehow. I agree with the other reviews that the packaging and shipping were top notch. Some of the boxes were demolished in transit, but the contents were undamaged except for minor scratches. We have a couple of projects we needed some scaffolding for. Was going to rent, but this was cost effective to buy, take our sweet time with our projects and then sell when we're done. I don't think I will be selling soon. If folds up flat and can be leaned on the wall. Just "fold" it up. It also makes decent shelving or a quick workbench. Seems like every project needs different heights and this does them all quickly and easily. Better than any scaffold we've rented. CBM gave excellent information on how it would ship and deliver. They even sent pictures of our shipment packed up before the shipper picked it up. We could compare this to how it got delivered. There was not problems at all with delivery. All the finish was fit and clear. No problems. Works like a charm. Holds heavy weight very steady. Just excellent all around. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I wished could afford another, *by A***T on June 21, 2017* I was surprised CBM actually emailed photos of the item ready to be shipped. It arrived a day early then their estimated delivery date even started with minor paint flaws the shipper was a bit rough on it. Upon unpacking and inspecting the parts the welds seem good, strong and things fit together nicely. I don’t have a safe place to assemble the unit as a tower at the moment. But have no reason to think I can't once I have it on level ground. As others have said this is not the heavy solid commercial stuff. I do plan to be rocking and rolling a little once I start using it at roof level. But on the other hand one old man can assemble it, have both hands free and not be dangling from a latter. It's footprint with the outriggers seem plenty wide enough that you would have to make a effort to tip it over. My only complaint I share with others who have left reviews. The raw wood parts are not waterproofed before assembling. With the wood being pre attached to metal frames there is no way I am going to get all the hidden areas of wood protected from the elements. Unless I rebuild the decks myself, Which is a lot of extra work and expense but it would add to the life of the product. In either case I plan to cover the wood with exterior grade something mixed with a little sawdust or sand to make a non slip surface. I am pleased with this purchase. In fact I really wished could afford another one right now. Only time will tell how well the casters hold up. But I'll keep them oiled and see how it goes. For now I give it and CBM five stars.
