The first ones I got were round and would compress under the weight of my laptop, but what I did not know at the time was that those same ones left circles on whatever surface my laptop was on, which is NOT ideal with the expensive furniture. I came across these and decided to them a shot and to my surprise they were a significant improvement!The rubber is firm enough to were it will not compress under the weight of my laptop and yet sticky enough to to were it’ll keep it in place and not leave ANY marks on furniture.
