**Q: can i leave out the inner stakes on the gate out to make the opening wider? I need it to be 48 inches wide.**

Thank you for reaching out.

Unfortunately, no. The rails that compose the gate are only 36" wide. You can make the opening wider by using 2 gates to make a double gate. I apologize for the inconvenience.

**Q: what is the warranty for this product and the matching Madison panels? I don't want to risk paying all this money and it is too flimsy.**

**Q: Would this gate work with the manchester 2pack set?**
A: It's not really designed to, but I did.  The Manchester is taller so I extended the legs of the gate with some stakes I had. Was able to get it to work, but probably wouldn't recommend it.
