They fit slightly big like regular slippers but are extremely comfortable and really warm... much warmer than regular slipper because they are enclosed booties and are insulated with a fleece linings. The sole is waterproof with a slight grip (rubber/plastic) but the rest of the boot is unfortunately not waterproof, but I didn't expect them to be. They keep my feet super warm and comfy and I can wear them outside as long as it's dry and not raining or snowing. I wear them with socks so my feet don't get the inside of the slippers sweaty or dirty, but they can definitely be worn without socks. It's just my preference to wear socks. They are the best slippers I've ever had for how warm they keep my feet. Can't believe I lived without them all this time.
