Its no louder than your average vacuum cleaner,blender or food processor. I have had my heart set on a machine like this for some time.I had been cranking out fresh pasta with a manual machine and was limited to just fettuccine, spaghetti and lasagna with it. This machine takes all the work out of making fresh pasta and makes perfect ziti and rigatoni. After tasting fresh pasta you will never ever want to eat store boxed pasta again.
