Review: Great resource! - Between this book and the 51 uWorld cases I knocked the CCS out of the park. I read through both twice before the test, specifically this book in between days 1 and 2 of Step 3. I would say 3/4's of my cases were directly out of the two books and remaining 1/4 of cases were easy to work up algorithmically. The key is learn/memorize the workup for each broad chief complaint and be able to regurgitate it in the software. There's no penalty for ordering extra labs. Highly recommended. It feels so good to be done with USMLE forever!

Between this book and the 51 uWorld cases I knocked the CCS out of the park. I read through both twice before the test, specifically this book in between days 1 and 2 of Step 3. This is the perfect book for the CCS exam. It is very inclusive, and gives you a format to approach these cases. It is a MUST HAVE for the exam. The CCS portion is a make it or break it portion of the test with 25-30% of the exam.
