Review: Who would have thought it's perfect for the Seiko tuna? - Strap is very soft and feels high quality. For a guy with tiny wrist, this is more than amazing - I still have 3/4 more holes left on the strap when I fasten it. What's more, the colours matches the Seiko Tuna "green scallop" perfectly. The blue is tad lighter than the shroud but on the wrist looks harmonious. The original spring bar is about 1/3mm too big for the strap end however because of the synthetic materials used to construct the quick release feature, with a little force the spring bars will sink in very snuggly. 10/10 would recommend any tuna owner to get one. The overall fit is surprisingly well. Review: Expensive but worth the money - I bought this strap to go with my Fenix 5 which came with the standard black silicone strap. As this is an everyday watch as well as an activity monitor I wanted something with a bit more of a classic look for times I’m not doing anything particularly active! The strap comes well packaged and in a nice box as you’d expect at this price point. It is clearly made of strong material and is quite chunky and heavy, the weight it adds to the watch is very noticeable but this was a positive for me as it gives it a much more expensive feel. It’s easy to clip on and off the watch using Garmin’s QuickFit system, it literally takes a second so for me I tend to swap back to the silicone strap for more comfort before exercising. If there was one slight disappointment it was that the strap didn’t come with any tools to adjust the length which is a bit cheeky of Garmin with how much they charge for this strap. There are two small screwdriver type tools in the box but these seem to be for removing the pin where the watch itself meets the strap – as the strap is attached with the QuickFit latch that seems to be a redundant tool to me. As it comes it was far too large for my wrist so I had to buy another tool to allow me to take links out of the strap, this was very cheap and easy to do so no real harm done. Overall I have given this five stars on the basis that the strap itself is exactly what I expected and having worn it every day for several weeks now it still looks good as new and doesn’t seem to scratch or scuff very easily at all. It turned up the next day, fits my Garmin Forerunner 935 perfectly (and obviously the quick release attachments also) and seems sturdy enough. I changed to this quick release band so I can use the watch for triathlon, moving the watch itself from wrist to bike to wrist without any fuss and it seems to do the job well. It's my permanent watch strap now. Feels soft and comfortable enough when wearing it, maybe not as soft as original bands ( I bought tri bundle 935 with 2 bands) that came with watch for some strnge reason considering this is supposed to be a Garmin product also, but overall I have no complaints on comfort. Only reason(s) I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 (did think about giving it 3 stars for these reasons) was 1. It's advertised as "flame red", which to me would be a bright, bold red. It's not a bright, bold red. It's more like your old red T-shirt that you've had for a while and is a wee bit washed out now, but you still like it. And 2. When it arrived the box seemed to me as though it had been opened previously, like it may have been a return and was now sent to me. I even checked the strap against the straps on the Garmin web site. Admittedly they look the same and in fairness there were no marks on the strap itself to indicate it had been used before but the previously opened appearance of the box took the shine off the purchase. Overall I'm happy enough with the strap,but like most of the other reviewers I think the price is ridiculous.
