I appreciate the nice wood tone cover with the Apple logo just barely showing behind the "grille" in the center of the top.Pros: + very good fit + nice wood tone with actual raised "grain", many people think this is wood!Cons: - with the lower black plastic on, the MacBook Pro heats up more even with a laptop stand with fan - lower black plastic part of snap on cover does not fit well with either type of MacBook lock I have tried. With a little bit of shaving down plastic the PNY ThinkSafe lock will work. Take care NOT to shave down the parts that clip on the underside of the MacBook! - the top and bottom cover have two or three small plastic fingers which may not last long if either piece is taken on and off a repeatedlyFor the money a great way to protect your MacBook Pro from scratches. I've had it for a little over a month and the bottom is already cracked and the top will not stay on.
