Crafted from high-quality ABS plastic with a scratch-resistant matte black finish, it supports both Single-DIN and Double-DIN aftermarket radios. The kit includes all necessary hardware, a handy storage pocket for Single-DIN installs, and offers expert tech support, making your audio upgrade smooth and stylish—all proudly made in the USA. ## Description This stereo installation kit has been engineered to help you install either a 2” tall (Single-DIN) or a 4” tall (Double-DIN) aftermarket radio into the original vehicle dashboard. This dash kit makes radio replacement simple and comes with a pocket that is installed below the 2” radio to fill the extra space in the radio opening, which can be used for storage. The pocket is not needed when installing a 4” tall radio. The dash kit is painted scratch-resistant matte black to match the original look and feel of the vehicle’s dashboard. Installing an aftermarket radio can upgrade the sound quality and provide additional features the original factory radio couldn’t offer but requires this dash kit to make it fit. ## Features - Stereo installation kit designed to fit any standard 2” or 4” tall aftermarket radio - Painted scratch-resistant matte black - Made from the highest quality ABS plastic for an original factory-like fit and finish - Includes brackets and hardware parts needed with detailed installation instructions - A tech support number is available for installation help 7 days a week - Please refer to the Metra Electronics Vehicle Fit Guide for fitment information - Made in the USA ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00BAO15UE | | Best Sellers Rank | #50,490 in Automotive ( See Top 100 in Automotive ) #50 in Automotive Replacement Radio Electrical Accessories | | Brand Name | Metra | | Cable Type | automotive wiring harness | | Connector Type | Component | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 4.3 out of 5 stars (1,618) | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00086429255269 | | Included Components | product, manual | | Item Dimensions | 14.5 x 7.5 x 2.5 inches | | Item Type Name | install kit | | Item Weight | 0.27 g | | Manufacturer | Metra Electronics Corp | | Material Type | case | | Model | 99-8231 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Part Number | 99-8231 | | UPC | 086429255269 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Warranty Description | 1 year limited manufacturer warranty | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Metra - **Connector Type:** Component - **Item Weight:** 0.27 g - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 14.5 x 7.5 x 2.5 inches - **Material:** case ## Images ![99-8231 Single or Double DIN Installation Dash Kit for 2002-2006 Toyota Camry Without Factory Navigation - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41kQVIC7f+L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Customer Package Type, Style** options. ## Frequently Bought Together - Metra 99-8231 Single or Double DIN Installation Dash Kit for 2002-2006 Toyota Camry,Black - Metra 70-1761 Radio Wiring Harness For Toyota 87-Up Power 4 Speaker --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ae/products/8898620-99-8231-single-or-double-din-installation-dash-kit-2002](https://www.desertcart.ae/products/8898620-99-8231-single-or-double-din-installation-dash-kit-2002) --- *Product available on Desertcart United Arab Emirates* *Store origin: AE* *Last updated: 2026-11-04*
