I never thought it would make such a big difference to the quality of the print. Review: Works Well - So far I've dried two rolls of film and have noticed a difference in the performance and quality of the film being extruded. It does the job and seems to do it well. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because it doesn't have a timer on the unit. Would be nice to set the machine and walk away knowing it will shut off when the time is up. I do know when I followed directions for filament type it pulled out the moisture from filament(Petg). The filament started printing better. **Q: Can you buy extra trays?** A: I haven't seen where anyone is selling additional trays. I'm not sure they would be needed tho. You place the filament spools on the trays, so your not wrapping filament on them. You just life the spools off once dry. I store my filament in a dry box once I remove them. **Q: Exactly what is included in the package?** A: Our PrintDry filament dryer includes the dryer itself, two stackable chambers for drying filaments, a top feeder and metal plate and as an added bonus we have included 2 D-Spools which you would use to take the filament off the roll it is sold on, and wind it onto the PrintDry D-Spool which have less plastic and feature a more open design all the way to the center of the roll to allow consistent drying for the whole spool of filament. Many filaments come on spools that cover most of the filament on the roll and make proper drying impossible since the filament is protected by the thick plastic of the spool. This is important especially on long prints as only part of the filament will be able to be dried leaving the interior of the original spool with moisture. We also offer a re-spooling station and extra D-spools in our PrintDry accessories. **Q: Does anybody see a benefit of increasing the capacity of a filament spool drier to more than two spools? Say, 4 or even 6?** A: Not at this time. I only use 1 spool at a time so far, and I can't see printing with more than that just yet. If the dryer were to add the capabilities for more, the cost would exceed what most people would pay. It does what it is suppose to do. I like the fact it is really built to replace the spool holder and you just print from it while it runs keeping everything as dry as possible. If you live in a humid environment like I do, it solves so many issues that you never realized were due to wet plastic that you will be in denial. Grind through, breakage, bad surface quality, clogging, bad layer adhesion, splitting, not bonding to the build platform. I could go on but I will spare you. I am surprised there are not more competitors in this space though. My complaints really stem from the poor manufacturing quality. The unit isn't very robust. I would describe it as "fragile" and it probably would not survive if I were to knock it off the table by mistake. I certainly hope it holds up to the usage I intend to put it through.
