Nice build quality. Good for small pond. *by M***M on December 18, 2020* I was really looking forward to using this filter on a small aquaculture tank. It seems well built, and is a nice small package for a filter system. This filter is rated to flow 1,060 GPH. Our 1,050 GPH pump, running at 4 ft of head (eg moving way less than the rated 1050gph) had to be turned down to 25% or it would overflow the filter.... And this was after using both top and bottom drains!! I'm sure it would do a good job of filtering a small pond with a small fish load. But this filter is not even capable of turning over a thousand gallon tank one time per hour. So we are boxing it up and getting it ready for the return.
