Review: Nice tool, works well for the intended purpose - Really useful for removing old salt water seized snaps, but spray some suitable lubrication on the snap first to prevent damage. Can be useful for fastening snaps on tight fabric, as it applies force to a wider area than your fingers would. However for really tight covers, designed to force a watertight seal beneath the fabric, this tool is only partially useful. Direct hand force it still required in some cases.

**Q: Will it work on a 2019 Suntracker?**
A: This tool is not manufacturer specific, this will work with any boat canvas snap. It works very well and have not broken a snap since!

**Q: Any idea what snap diameter this works for?  I hope to use it to remove panel snaps on my car door...**
A: 3/8" snap is what the product is designed for.  It might help with other sizes, but would not be nearly as effective.

**Q: Will this tool scratch the funish in the boat?**
A: It shouldn't, as you don't rest the tool on the boat itself, only the frame of the windows. If in doubt, rest the tool on a small piece of cloth. My boat is Aluminum, so with me it isn't an issue

**Q: What kind if metal is it made of. In other words is it stainless steel?**
A: Yes, it 400 series stainless steel.   400 series is stiffer the 300 series stainless.

This is a very sturdy, excellent tool for unsnapping our boat cover. No more struggling or hurting thumbs! Saves on stressing fabric and possible tears. I love the wrist band preventing you from dropping it in the lake. The bright red strip helps one find the tool easily. It's very worth the money!
