I was needing a memory card to transfer some game saves, free up some space. I had 2 choices, the official microsoft memory card or the thrustmaster memory card. I decided to risk it and go with the cheaper one. I decided that if it was bad, i would have only wasted a little money.When it arrived, i wasn't dissappointed, it had a lot of options, including the transfer of data and naming the card.Only bad side is though, 8Mb is not enough for a lot of games, so you may just be able to get 1 or 2 games onto it.Overall, this is great value for money.

This is a perfectly good bit of kit - no problems with it at all. However, it's also totally unnecessary - Microsoft has clearly decided there's more money to be made by forcing the use of memory cards for transferring game data than allowing gamers to just link two Xboxs together using the ethernet ports. There's no reason why all data-transfers can't be done using a cheap bit of ethernet cable - apart from taking your Live accounts with you, the memory card is superfluous kit. I only wanted to transfer my game saves from my Xbox to my brother's. Personally, I don't appreciate being forced to buy still more add-ons for Xbox when I shouldn't have to. But then this is "Micro$oft" we're talking about!
