It is made poorly to the extent that the finger holes still have twirls of thin plastic where the holes were drilled.With all of that said, I'm not going to return it.I don't think it's worth anywhere even near what they are charging because honestly it plays terribly and would not be appropriate for public performance. But with how huge the thing is, it's a very eye opening entry to what playing a tenor recorder would be like.As much as I hate to admit it, I'm glad I bought this poor attempt at an instrument before shelling out a lot more money for one that would sound good - only to learn the thing is HUGE and very hard to play with small hands. I've been fine on a soprano recorder, but I was not at all ready for how big this thing is.If you want to try your hand at tenor recorder and don't have much money, this works.The seller isn't great and the quality is poor, but at least you get an idea of the size of the instrument.If I were to buy this again, I'd be reluctant to pay more than $30 for it.I could probably make one of these with some PVC pipe from Home Depot, a drill, and some brown paint.Buyer beware. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars Looks are Deceiving! *by E***K on Reviewed in the United States on January 25, 2019* The recorder connections are Extremely tight. I needed maximum force to assemble it and take it apart. An obvious defect with one of the connecting pieces added to the problem. I tried playing it with a recorder ensemble and it was sooooo out of tune with the other recorders and it was impossible to correct this problem! Customer service that Amazon provides was polite and had no issues with me returning the recorder, however the person did not tell me that it would cost me $23.50 in postage to return the recorder!! The entire experience was an Outrage in regards to a defective tenor recorder and the cost of returning it!
