USING REAL BASEBALLS CAN VOID THE MANUFACTURER WARRANTY. With the Home Run cage used, the pitch from the machine to the batter is usually between 12 - 20 feet, thus simulating a much faster pitch speed for the Power Alley 360. For example, the Power Alley 40 MPH orange lite balls pitch 40 MPH at 46 feet away, but at only 20 feet away the speed simulates a 92 MPH fastball so any advanced player will find a challenge! To help reduce the speed, simply move the machine further away from the batter.
