The product code is the black ridge on their website. The version I received is the v2 **Q: Is this version 2?** A: This is the second question I've seen about version too. I didn't find any information on their website about different versions. but the box i got didn't mention it either, so my best guess is version 1. But don't take me 100% for it. **Q: Is this Cpu cooler compatible with the asus strix z270i motherboard , I wanted to know if the vrms heatsink will cause any issues** A: I would check PC part picker. But if it fits in a Dan A4 case (depending brackets or not brackets, i think most can do without brackets) then it should be compatible. Besides that the cooler itself is great, just be cautious when ordering and triple check that they list the compatibility of the extra AMD sockets (am2, etc) to make sure it is the updated V2 with the additional brackets.
