Review: Perfect replacement for 1991 Chevy Astro van - This is the third water pump on my 1991 Chevy Astro, not surprising considering the van is now 32 years old. As the 4.3L Vortec engine shows no signs of wear, I don't mind replacing a bunch of external wear&tear parts (idler pulleys, fan , fan clutch, which I also reviewed here on desertcart.com). The AC Delco water pump fit perfectly right away and is working flawlessly. As the previous generic pump lasted 17 years, I expect this one to do just as well or better. Although I doubt that I'll get to keep this van until its 50th birthday, but who knows.
