Review: Functionality - I like this drawing desk for the multi purpose it can be used for. Tilt it and you can draw (which the angle comes up really great). Have it flat and it becomes a regular desk for your daily tasks. I personally added a few things on it to expand it. As for the spaces(side pockets), if you plan to use it to store long object like pens, markers of paint brushes, it's not deep enough to keep them in when you tilt it, but it's easily fixed with a simple extention. It's pretty much sturdy and you have the option to use roller or fixed feet. You can also clamp your lights on the table frame. I think it's a great buy for the price. The assembly is pretty much straight forward with the instruction, except for the object stopper(retainer/guard) which I had to rig a little bit the holes on it, so it would align with the ones under the desk.

**Q: how hard is the top to adjust?  how heavy ?**
A: The glass top does have a bit of weight, since it's tempered glass. About four pounds, I'd guess.  The top is very easy to adjust because of the ratchet system. Leave the glass on the top, pull the top up to adjust to where you want it, then extend the ratchet behind the glass to lock into place.

**Q: Can this take the weight of a cat jumping on it without cracking the glass? (About 10 inch jump down, or a jump from the floor?)**
A: I would say yes, unless you are talking about a very heavy (over 20 pounds) and clumsy cat.  this is a very well made and stable table.  I bought one for my grandson, who is a five year old 45# budding artist/engineer.  However, I told him not to climb on it.  I am sure there are no guarantees specifically referring to cats, but the glass idoes appear to be designed to be safe, last, and handle people leaning against it with partial weight.

**Q: How do I order a missing peice for assembly?**

**Q: Is the glass top smoke color**
A: It has a bluish gray shade to it yes.
