Review: Brings back a lot of memories - I do not think these are the original Black Jacks but it's better than nothing. The packaging seems smaller, the sticks are brittle, and the flavor doesn't last so long. On the other side of the coin, there was a time long ago when a stick would last an entire 9 inning ball game. The times are sure changing.
Review: Stale DRY gum! No taste! Not original size! - I would not purchase gum at this ridiculous price except to bring a nostalgic smile on the face of someone special. How embarrassing! Old, stale, dry, hardly any flavor and certainly not anywhere near the original taste or texture. Love that it is non-refundable. Throwing out.

**Q: Does your gum say Adams on the packs like in the picture and description?**
A: Mine did not say "Adams".
It is the reformulated gum starting late last year.
The stuff that was discontinued in 2007 was a reformulation also but it did have 'natural and artificial flavor' ; this only has 'artificial flavor'.

**Q: I purchased this last year for around $20. What happened to the price. $49.99 is way out of line.**
A: You can actually find them at Bartells for $.69 a pack.

A: Black Licorice!  Black Jack was the first flavored gum in the US, and they have just recently re-released it.  You can smell the licorice from the minute you receive the package.  So if you like black licorice, this is the gum for you!  Thanks again!  Sincerely,  CandyMafia

A: No it is not made in Morroco.  It is very good has a strong licorice flavor.  Why would you say the product is bad if you have never tried it? and it has nothing to do with Columbia either.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not like any other gum. Lasts longer chew..love licorice.

Thought to take a star off because it's made in China and the packaging is pretty shabby. It bursts a strong licorice flavor and chews forever... I ball it up and save it to re-chew later as the texture is superior and very unique. The flavor goes down to quite mellow, which I actually prefer and lasts pretty much indefinitely. If you're not freaked out by re-chewing, you get a totally unique experience. I love licorice candies and this satisfies that taste without all the sugar. This was originally made in America and one of the nostalgia series that Beechnut Gum or Wrigley's would re-issue a couple of times a year included with Pepsin, Clove and maybe one other apparently China picked up the patents or rights. Too bad, but still my best ever chew for my peculiar approach and enjoyment.
