Didn't do an allergy test with a small amount of hair before bleaching all of it. 2. The scalp was too sensitive. 3. Bleach and developer were not measured correctly. 4. Did not follow the instructions provided. 5. It could have been beyond the expiration date. I had some hair loss after the first time I bleached my hair because it was something new and my scalp overreacted. **Q: My hair is naturally ash blonde and doesn't bleach easily. 20 mins only 2 shades lighter. Will this work? How long should I leave it on?** A: All Hair is different, twenty minutes probably does go two shades lighter, but you also have to realize how many shades there are now a days. To get my bleach blonde tone I leave it in for a little less than an hour.
