Xtouch is a brand of mobile phones and accessories based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The company was founded in 2003 by Hisham Malak and Jamil Sibai. Xtouch designs, manufactures and markets a range of mobile phones and accessories under its own brand, as well as under license from other brands such as Samsung, Apple, HTC, BlackBerry, Nokia and Sony. Xtouch's product range includes smartphones, feature phones, tablets, mobile accessories and wearable devices. The company has a wide distribution network across the Middle East, Africa and Asia. Xtouch is a subsidiary of Etisalat, one of the largest telecommunications companies in the world. Etisalat acquired a majority stake in Xtouch in 2013, and the company has since been working closely with Etisalat to develop and launch a range of innovative mobile products and services in the UAE and other markets. In 2015, Xtouch launched the world's first 4G-enabled smartphone with built-in satellite navigation, the Xtouch X801. The phone was designed to work with Etisalat's extensive 4G network in the UAE, which offers coverage across the country. The Xtouch X801 was followed by the launch of the Xtouch X802, a 5-inch smartphone with a full HD display. The phone was launched in 2016 and is available in select markets. In 2017, Xtouch launched the Xtouch X1002 tablet, which is the world's first tablet with built-in satellite navigation. The tablet is available in select markets. Xtouch has also launched a number of mobile accessories, including the Xtouch Power Bank and the Xtouch Wireless Charger. Both products are available in select markets.
