Remove the fringe from the handle by untying the lace. Wash the cotton fringe in an ordinary detergent (a few hours soaking is recommended, especially if the fringe is very dirty). Dry the fringe well. Roll up the fringe by inserting the 2 legs of the handle into the openings in the fringe, and reconnecting the laces after passing both ends through the perforation in the sleeve. Pour the contents of a bottle of Nenetol into a flat container. Soak the fringe for a few minutes until the contents are absorbed. After re-soaking, and before using for the first time, leave the Nenetol to rest for a few hours to ensure that the product is well distributed in the fringe.
