I love this little thing so much! It's very cute and compact, but still effective. The magnet is nice for just sticking on the fridge for easy storage and finding when a package comes. I basically bought this so I can help open packages in the clinic when new inventory comes in. I'm still a student, but I'm looking forward to working! It's the PERFECT size to stash in a scrub pocket. The blade locks nicely and it's easy to slide it out when needed. Cutting is really easy too, but you will still need to be careful not to cut the thing in the box, depending on what it is.

These are great little box cutters at a good price, and the ceramic blade has a really long useful lifespan. The only reason I'm docking it one star is that 1) the magnet that holds it onto your refrigerator (where you may well end up putting it) is pretty weak; and 2) if it falls to the floor, the construction is rather flimsy and it may well come apart. It's easy enough to snap back together, but I wish the construction was a little more solid. That said, it disassembles to enable you to replace the blade, which is great and saves it from being a disposable item. Tip: when the blade starts getting dull eventually, open it up and flip the blade around -- there's a whole other fresh edge there for you to use. I got like a year of regular box cutting out of mine before it dulled.

Using a knife or one side of my kitchen shears to slice open my many packages from Amazon has always felt a little dangerous, either to myself or to whatever is in the box, so when I saw this mini box cutter, I immediately ordered it. The ceramic blade cuts cleanly and efficiently, and I don't have to worry about it dulling or rusting over time. Inexpensive and just right for its purpose.

To be such a small item, it has had a great impact in my day to day life. Plus with the quality and use in opening packages of all sizes with ease....the small blade is stable. I've not had issues with the quality of the product and I've not had to replace the blade so far. It came in other colors. I will purchase another one in the near future to keep with my crafts/holiday decor/paper container.

What a great idea! Love to have something small to keep at my desk to open packages. I love that they are ceramic and strong enough to cut tape/cardboard, but not so sharp that I cut myself. I love that they have little magnets so they can hang on my cubicle. What don't I love? They fall apart. Most times when I pick it up, the top/bottom covers separate, and I have to spend a couple of minutes clipping them back together. a

Admittedly, I saw this online and it felt gimmicky, but since it was inexpensive, I figured I'd give it a try. Four years later, and I can't imagine living without it! Pros: - Cuts through anything we've tried it on (cardboard, plastic film, paper, foam) - Safer around kids - Good size to hold (not bulky but not tiny) - Different versions are colored differently (orange ones have a blade that stays out, while green ones you have to keep holding the button to keep the blade out) - Magnetic (we keep one on the fridge) - Long lasting (we haven't had to replace a blade in 4 years) Cons: - It's only magnetic on one side, so you have to place the right side against the metal surface - It would be nice if it had a hole to hang/loop through something

Must have. Little costly but worth it as easily cuts through boxes and plastic wraps without effort and risk of cuts. My kids can use safely

Very handy and convenient. Love the fact that you don’t have to be super careful as you’re not going to cut yourself. Just ordered the second one - hope they restock soon so I don’t have to use a regular knife or scissors ever again.
