It works great this is my second one that I needed for an other garage . It has good suction power ease to clean and the noise level I feel is normal I have used other brands and find this model is the best and is hard to beat the price

This is simply the best car vacuum. It is extremely powerful, adaptable, and the wall mount is perfect. If you are comparing other vacs, as I did, get this one. You will not be disappointed.

I have a very small garage attached to a very old farmhouse. Floor space, or any space at all is extremely limited. The garage is not even large enough to fit a modern vehicle parked inside so it’s more of a tool shop for us and has refrigerator and upright freezer as well as tools. I mounted this near the overhead door and the hose length and diameter allows me to use it for so many things. Because it’s near the door I can easily vacuum out my car or vacuum the Aramark style rugs that I have in the garage. We have a lot of pine trees so a lot of pine Needles like to blow their way into the garage and this sucks them up just great. I use it after I use a saw, to vacuum up sawdust. It’s easy to remove from the wall but so far I’ve pretty much kept it where it is because I have other larger shop vac‘s throughout the farm. I like knowing that the shop vac is always where I put it and no kids run off with it. The kids also find it super easy to use because of the large rocker switch to turn things off and on and the storage for the extra accessories. The only thing I would change is that the bottom accessory tray is very difficult to get things in and out of unless you are lifting the shop vac off its bracket on the wall. There’s just not enough space between the bottom of the shock vac and the tray for the smaller and accessories like brushes to fit in and out of the small opening. Overall there’s no excuse for messes when this guy is around.

I purchased this Craftsman 5-gallon wet/dry vac a few months ago after my previous small shop vac's tank rusted out. I specifically chose this all-plastic molded model to avoid that problem, and the construction quality appears solid. The suction power is adequate, though not quite as strong as some other reviewers suggested. That said, it's perfectly appropriate for what it is—a small, portable unit designed for light-duty work. I use it primarily for car maintenance in the garage and small project cleanup in the cabin. For heavy-duty jobs, I still rely on my larger shop vac, and this unit isn't trying to replace that. The wall-mount installation was seamless. I mounted it between our vehicles, and it's incredibly convenient having it right there when needed. The extra-long hose is a real plus and, impressively, stays flexible even during cold northeast winters—a detail that matters more than you'd think. The selection of attachments is excellent and covers all my basic needs. However, there's one weakness: the attachment storage bin that mounts under the unit. The latches are flimsy and gave out quickly, so it won't stay closed. While this is disappointing, it's not a deal-breaker for me. Bottom Line: I recommend this vac for anyone needing a convenient, light-duty shop vacuum. It beats dragging out a heavy-duty unit for quick cleanups, and the wall-mount design makes it accessible exactly when you need it. Just don't expect industrial-grade suction or bulletproof accessory storage.

Very well designed if you need to use your space efficiently The 21 foot hose is awesome, nice long power cord was very handy for placement of the vac. Nicely self contained with the onboard tool storage and hose hanger. Adequate suction for my needs (vacuuming cars in the carport).

Works as intended, perfect car/portable vaccuum on the larger side. No complaints.

First issue: no drain plug. If picking up liquids, you must remove the whole top motor section and dump the bottom container manually. What a farce. Second issue is trying to wrap the power cord around the bar in back. Better off just wrapping the cord up by hand and tying it up with long velcro strap or something. Third, this is not the quality or build design of the "old" Craftsman brand. That reputation took a hike long ago. Now there are some positives. The suction is good and picked up water quickly, but tub fills up fast (5 gal. isn't alot, but this is a small job unit). The power cord is more than adequate length. Unit doesn't weigh much which is good. Accessories included are good and useful plus two hose lengths. I guess some may try to mount this on a garage wall, but not worth the bother IMO. Also, the instructions are not real clear about which port is the "suck" and which is the "blow". But you will figure it out quickly. Overall, I rate this very average as wet/dry vacs go, and not the best value around.

This vacuum works great and has plenty of sucking power. The hose is a bit rigid which is a good sign for quality but also makes it a bit harder to get around under seats and in corners while vacuuming cars... no big deal but a good point to bring up here to help a prospective buyer. I love how I don't have to move the vacuum around and the hose comes all around the car with ease. The power button on top is nice and the wall mount is rugged too. The small cubby for storing attachments is a bit tight but that is just because I bought a few extra attachments that didn't come with the unit. All and all I am very happy with my new craftsman wall mount vacuum after using it at my detail shop for a few weeks and definately recommend this.

Previous one we had was over 20 years old. Good suction. Used a lot.
