Eddy+ Replacement Cap & Straw

Fits my hydro flask perfectly, works well, no leaks, easy to use. I would buy a second one when needed, no hesitation.

I have three old Camelbak Eddy's from like 2013-2016. They've worked well and have held up, but there is mold under the straw valve area that I cannot clean out. The housing unit where this is underneath the lid is not easy to access to remove that little valve/nozzle to properly clean it. Since the Eddy's are no longer made and I didn't want to get rid of perfectly good water bottles I decided to take a chance and purchase the Eddy+ lid to see if it would fit. Other reviewers said it did and it does, perfectly! For both my 600ml and my 750ml Eddy. I just put it on my water bottle last night to use and have no issues. When I hold it upside down it doesn't leak and when I held it upside down on an angle it didn't leak (picture shown of this with my 600ml Eddy). I'm hopeful that the little nozzle area on the Eddy+ will be easier to clean should mold start to form. I've attached pictures of the old lid which i slight gray and the new lid which is black to show the comparison of the little nozzle thing I'm talking about. One thing to note is that the straw that comes with this is long, too long for my 750ml, but they're easy to cut. The design of the straw opening is slightly different (wider hole) than the previous Eddy, but the old straw does still fit and it's what I'm using this morning.

It fit my 1L/32oz camelbak perfectly. Was able to replace just the lid because I wanted a straw without needing to buy a new water bottle. Tested shaking it around (closed) and no water leaked out. Wasn’t sure how to connect the straw at first (push through the rubber inside the lid).

I sip on a thing of iced coffee for a while from my Camelbak thermos. I have knocked it over a few times on my desk and spilled coffee though and that's always annoying. This give you a pretty spill proof solution and is very convenient while driving also because you don't have to tilt your head back and take your eyes off the road for a drink. Be careful about leaving cold things in there for long. If you happen to forget about your drink and it starts to warm up, it will come up through the straw sometimes. I've only had that happen once when I forgot about my iced coffee overnight and came back to a small puddle around this thing. Not a lot, and the thermos was full so that meant the level was already all the way up. To clean it you can pop the mouth piece off with just a small tug. If you don't do that you'll end up with gunk in there eventually. I take the straw off, the mouthpiece off, and throw all 3 pieces in the dishwasher (mouthpiece and straw in the utensil basket). I really like this thing and would buy it again.

I was looking into getting a whole new bottle, but this seemed like a better solution! I wanted one with a sport top or a straw, since my teeth are sensitive and I like bottles where I can direct the water past my teeth. It DOES fit my chute mag bottle, NO LEAKS! I was really worried because people seem pretty mixed about whether these actually fit the bottles they're supposed to or not! The straw is real thick, so it's easy to clean! The mouth piece comes off the top, so that's super easy to clean as well! The handle is not as thick as the one on the chute mag tops, which is a little disappointing, it feels a little less sturdy, but that's yet to show to be an actual problem! I haven't had any issues with suction or leakage, and it seems to be a real good replacement for my default chute mag top! I feel some reviews are misleading since people bought them for bottles they weren't meant for(It does not say anywhere that it is compatible with older eddy or chute bottles, but some people appear to have bought them for such, and complained they didn't fit in a review, rather than just returning them?).

Fits a Nalgene bottle perfectly! Completely water-tight seal, easy to clean, good quality materials that seem as durable as the Nalgene it's on. Would buy again with no hesitation, but this feels like a lifetime purchase.

Fits the old Eddy bottles just fine. This revised design is better. It is easier to clean and the silicone nubbin is more leak resistant. Been using it every day for two years now.

Perfect fits your old bottle & you get a new straw
