Kitchen & Love Jalapeno & Roasted Pepper Quinoa Quick Meal 6-Pack | Vegan, Gluten-Free, Ready-to-Eat, No Refrigeration Required

As I hadn't really been into quinoa, I was very skeptical as to how this would work out. I am making attempts to eat smarter and I've heard nothing but great things about quinoa. So my opinions on it: Pros: Extremely portable...on the go...it doesn't require to be warmed up or kept cool (unless you've opened the package). The specific flavor for me, spicy jalapeno & roasted pepper, was soooo delicious. The quinoa is soft and the sauce when mixed in just makes for a delicious combo. While the portion doesn't look enormous, quinoa is filling between the fiber and protein content. One bowl is great and I've even had enough room to toss in some additional ingredients (chicken or even just some shredded cheese). So covering the most important aspects...it's a great healthy option for those who are on the go at work or needing something to munch on as a snack. The flavor is terrific and you don't have to feel guilty for partaking. It helps that the sauce and quinoa are both separately sealed and they even include a folding spork to help you if you're lacking utensils. Cons: Very little. I guess one could say the price. You get six boxes in a package which is about $3-4 a box. You probably find and make a similar quantity of quinoa with your own sauce choices for less and doing the portioning yourself. That said, you are paying for convenience....and health food convenience at that. Ultimately, as someone who was on the fence about quinoa, this product opened the door of quinoa for me....and I've started using it more at home. If you're looking for better options to begin or try at work or on the go, I'd recommend this product highly.

These are so good. I first tried them when I saw them on clearance at our local supermarket. But then I wanted to get more - and these are at a much cheaper price than the normal supermarket cost. They're an excellent mean on the run. No heating necessary, and even a small utensil is included with each one! The jalapeno and roasted pepper give it a huge amount of flavor. It's a quick and easy meal, but tastes SO good. I look forward to them in my lunch bag!

This is a great snack or small lunch meal. It is healthy and tasty. They are also super easy and fast to make with zero mess. Quite filling too. A winner really.

I think this is the best idea. I love that you can take it on the go send its ready even without hearing. The only problem I had was the high amount of sodium. Besides that the taste is great and it's super convenient especially when you don't have time to make anything. Will be buying again.

This is tasty hot or cold, and is just the thing to take along for lunch, a snack or a meal on the plane. It even comes with a little plastic fork to eat it with. It's healthy and natural. I had the quinoa and jalapeno, and it was so delicious I immediately ordered six more. Now I am going to order some of their other varieties and if they are as good as the first one, they have a fan.

Too spicy

I really liked that it was ready to go and did not require cooking, I did heat it up a little bit. It is a little spicy but I don’t mind it.

This has a nice spicy kick, but the flavor isn't all that great. The texture was horribly mushy. I tried to take a second bite, but I cringe and almost had gag reflex. I wouldn't recommend this product unless you enjoy mushy quinoa.
