ミシュラン AIR COMP Ultra Light 700x18/23c フレンチバルブチューブ

I've been running road tubeless for about 3 years now. However, I still carry a spare tube and I prefer to keep it as thin and small as possible so I can use the smallest possible seat pack. It only goes on the bike to repair a flat that won't seal with Orange Seal so I can't attest to durability. This tube, when fully deflated packs up very tight and can fit in the smallest Fizik bag with enough room for levers, adhesive patches, a minitool and a few other tiny items. The stem is long enough for a 50 mm deep rim.

I bought these to use with my new wheelset, Baixiang 700c 60mm Carbon Clincher for Shimano. The presta valve is too short, it is 62mm from the base to the top of the valve, however, the body of the presta valve is what really counts and it is 55mm. I tried to use an external valve extender, but you can't lock the valve open due to its mechanics, so you have to fill up the tire with the extender, remove the extender and lock the valve (it sticks around 5mm out). You better carry the extender with you. Forget about the internal valve extender, you can not remove the valve core. I also damaged one of the tubes while trying to mount the tire and it was very easy! The rubber is really thin (they managed to make it light weight by using thinner rubber, cheap valve mechanics and no threads to lock the base). I weighted the tube, it is 75g, I compared to a Specialized with similar dimensions (107g).

Great lightweight tire. Bought from RealCyclist and shipped very fast. Highly recommend for racing wheels. Seems thin but durable. Haven't had a flat yet in about 200 miles.

I bought these tubes because there light and WOW are they thin or what? Well the only draw back is I put them on with my 700cc x20 continental 4000 gt black chilli powder tires which maximum pressure is 160 psi!. Well I filled them up to about that pressure and accidently steped on a pothole and poped. You know how it poped? The tube whent trough the protective rubber my rim had and went trough the litle hole where the spoke is located. Too much pressure for a thin tube maybe? But its still a great comp tube

Waaaaay too thin. These things pop like it's going out of style. I bought 4 (?) and went through all of them over two rides (on my road bike). One occurred at the bottom of my standard bike path, which I hit at speed (~17 MPH), but have done so countless times with slightly thicker tubes. **PPOOOF** my tube literally melted. Another flat occurred riding over a grate (in the road) when I was hemmed in by cars here in DC -- but which has often occurred with no issue as I see it coming and slow down. At one point, having only taken two spares, I was forced to repeatedly use my hand pump (which is fine for an emergency, but not for more than once or twice a ride, if that). every mile to keep the tube inflated until I could get to a bike store -- where I proceeded to buy several thicker (and competing) tubes. Punchline: Only buy this if you want to get really good at changing tubes. Otherwise you're going to be disappointed.

Simply the best tube. Never a valve stem blow out failure unlike other brands!

Fairly light, flats easily.

Lightweight tubes are great but they are a crapshoot. If you get themail installed, they will probably be fine, but you almost always blow at least one while installing. I have always bough 3 tubes when I buy these because of the high probability one will get destroyed during the install. BUT it is about the cheapest way to shave rolling weight you can find and in my opinion worth the hassle.

Le uso da tempo e posso dire che rispetto alle classiche sono sicuramente più performanti grazie al loro peso, non perdono quasi nulla nemmeno in resistenza alle forature, anche se in un paio di volte dopo averle montate si sono subito riforate

タイヤに合わせてミシュランを選択。タイヤと相性がいいようです。 残念だったのはバルブ長。35mmリムなので長めにしたら長すぎました。

Sono proprio loro. Io le utilizzo con la ruota Zipp 404 ed escono della misura minima per avvitarci la prolunga valvola in fase di gonfiaggio. Le uso oramai da anni e mi sono sempre trovato molto bene a fronte anche di una ottima durata nel tempo. Michelin è una marca molto collaudata. Allego delle fotografie per togliere ogni dubbio.
