The film is waterproof but we do not promote it as showerproof or swimming-proof. "Waterproof" means it blocks liquid crossing the dressing (from one surface to the other surface of it). But under certain circumstances water/liquid may leak under the dressing from the side of the dressing. Adherence to instruction on "how to apply" can help with this matter..
This dressing does not contain any drugs. It is only made of polyurethane film and acrylic adhesives..
This dressing, like its competitors, contains acrylic glue. If you have a history of y to acrylic glue, avoid using this dressing. If developing , and severe when applied to skin, remove the dressing and do not use it before consulting your care provider..

They are breathable, sterile, transparent, and water-resistant. May be used as a primary or secondary dressing over skin wounds and areas with fragile skin providing a barrier to external contaminants.
