Jabra Talk 45 Black Bluetooth Headset for High Definition Hands-Free Calls with Dual Mic Noise Cancellation, 1-Touch Voice Activation and Streaming Multimedia (Renewed)

This review is for the Certified Refurbished Jabra Talk 45's that are sold by Jabra Company Store. The very new-looking headet was shipped in Frustration Free bubble wrapped packaging and included a 2A output two-USB-socket car charger, one USB micro-USB cable, the headset, warranty information card, manual, and several ear pieces. Verified that the headset sounds clear with the test communicant hearing me clearly over a 5000 CFM ceiling fan. Range was solid at over 60 feet through four rooms one of which was a kitchen full of very modern appliances. Comfort of the inner ear piece and the outer ear loop is commendable. The Talk 45 felt stable and I had no concerns about the headset falling out of my ear, a pretty neat feature considering how discretely small the headphone is. At $34, this is an absolute steal. I'm strongly considering a second unit if sound quality is good with the top down in my Jeep.

I don't really use my phone without a headset. I had gone through 5 or 6 Plantronics headsets over the years, and had always stuck to 2 base models that I knew I liked. They never worked "flawlessly", but they were very reliable, were small to carry in a pocket...and thankfully comfortable. Those models aren't being sold anymore, so I had to look for another. This model filled the bill perfectly -- small in the same way, cheaper in price, and good battery life. The battery isn't a extensive as the plantronics ones I had previously, but it's still plenty to get you through multiple days with plenty of use. This will be my new brand & model for the future. :)

This product was ordered as "Amazon Renewed" or refurbished or whatever the terminology is. It arrived with a badly ripped ear gel and completely missing the plastic loop that secures the unit over the ear. The headset itself had wear that suggested to me it was an old, heavily used unit; I have a feeling some unscrupulous customer used an Amazon return as a way to swap out their old, damaged headset for a new one, and this somehow made its way back on the market as "Amazon Renewed." Amazon customer service was excellent about resolving the issue, but there are definitely some gaps in Amazon's refurbishment inspection process. I won't be buying anything like this again anytime soon.

I was so stoked about this gadget at first, it really ticked all the boxes for me. But then I realized the battery life is a major bummer, only lasting for three hours. That's just not going to cut it for me, I really need something that can keep up for longer. I'm definitely going to have to look for a replacement with a much better battery. It's a shame because I genuinely liked it otherwise.

I bought 1 to replace a previous bluetooth that just quit. I liked this one so much, I bought a second one, one for my vehicle, one for my office. Very easy set up and my phone connects to whichever one is on at the time. The battery use time isn't too bad given the small size of the headset. Easily lasts for several days of use. Charges quickly. Charge overnight if you are using all day. I turn mine off when I'm not on a call, which helps with holding a charge and helps coworkers know that I'm not on a call. If they see the BT in my ear, it's hard to know if I'm on a call or waiting for a call.

The product is working but speaks in chinese! Not happy with that, as i will now have to download firmware and attempt to change the language…if its sold in US it should be refurbished to english.

First, to be clear I'm reviewing one of the "Amazon Renewed" ones and not new retail. The renewed products are supposed to function like new however. I will be returning and will post an update. On the plus sides, the unit is very comfortable to wear, has excellent battery life, and is plenty loud which is a problem that I've had with MANY other headsets. On the down side, the sound quality and features are significantly worse than my Jabra ERA from years back. This blows my mind. How can a tech product from the same manufacturer have less functionality and poorer sound quality than one from years back? As an example of features, the ERA allowed one to change the voice personality...guy, girl, accent, persona, etc.. This is not possible with the Talk 45 even with the Jabra Assist mobile app installed. I personally found the mobile app BTW to be another negative and added no value; though it is necessary if you want text messages read back to you I believe. Most of the features of the app were unavailable for the Talk 45. The app will need access to some of your personal information and consume at least some additional phone battery. I don't know about you but I don't like to have what I perceive as poorly written apps that add no value like that on my phone...deleted. As for sound quality, the noise cancellation seems to be a complete gimmick. It had zero effect on my end and for the receiver of the call I actually had some complaining that this headset magnified the background noise so badly that they clam they cant bare to listen unless I was standing still (I was pushing a grocery cart). Note, I'm using the headset with a OnePlus 6T Pro McLaren on T-Mobile if either or both of these has anything to do with my bad experience with this product.

I've owned Plantronics Bluetooth's for the last 8 years. They were good, but when I lost my last one, I decided to try something different, so I went with the Jabra. I absolutely love it. I love the where they place the switch for turning it on and off. They have a separate voice button, which is nice. It also has more features like, hearing my texts through the Bluetooth, being able to press the voice button and place a call or text. Things I didn't have with the Plantronics models that were similar.

Bought this to replace my old Jabra stealth. And the speaker and mic sound very clear at both end of the calls. Range is not bad, but at this price some one should speak to Jabra about Bluetooth 5.0...one day!! Ambiant noise cancelling is ok

Poor quality

El artículo funciona, sin embargo, no funciona tal y como un original. Cumple con su función, pero de repente se desconecta y no arroja notificaciones que un Jabra original si hace. Sólo por el precio que es el 50% de un original, me lo quedé.
